Position: Interdisciplinary PhD Student
I am interested in understanding social license for nature based coastal adaptation and infrastructure. Specifically, I am interested in learning about perceptions of community members, decision makers, and other stakeholders, over time, regarding nature based infrastructure projects in areas vulnerable to the impacts of climate change, including sea level rise and increasingly severe storm events. I am currently an Interdisciplinary PhD student at Dalhousie University working within the fields of social impact assessment, marine spatial planning and culturomics to support successful, equitable systems- based management approaches for coastal resilience.
