Help Shape IASNR’s Future: Participate in Our Organizational Health Assessment: As part of IASNR’s strategic planning, we are embarking on a process of seeing and understanding the current health of our organization through completing an Organizational Health Assessment (OHA). This survey, developed by nRhythm, is designed to help us better understand and enhance the health and resilience of our organization. Please submit your survey prior to Friday, February 14, 2025.
Conference Related Reminders:
Abstract Submissions: Abstract submissions are now being considered! Submissions are due Saturday, February 1, 2025. We do not anticipate an extension beyond that date and strongly encourage you to submit your abstracts well before the deadline. We encourage submissions that are relevant to the symposium theme and those that focus on the interactions between social and ecological systems. Individuals will be limited to serving as lead presenter on only one oral paper presentation. This does not include co-authorship and individuals may present both an oral paper presentation and organize a session, present a poster, or serve on a panel. Click here to submit an abstract.
Organized Sessions: Organized session proposals are still being considered! Although the November 1st deadline has passed, we are still considering late submissions on a rolling basis. If you are interested in submitting a session proposal after the deadline, please email [email protected].
Best Student Paper Awards – Call for Papers: If you are a Ph.D., Master’s, or undergraduate student, you are invited to submit a paper for consideration of the “Best Student Paper Awards” given by the International Association for Society and Natural Resources (IASNR). Papers must address issues pertaining to the social sciences of natural resources. Papers based on empirical studies and data are preferred, but review articles and thought pieces will be considered. The deadline is Monday, May 5, 2025. Click here to learn more.
