National Wildlife Federation – Conservation Postdoctoral Research Specialist OR Agricultural Outreach Training Specialist

National Wildlife Federation is hiring! We have two open positions within the sustainable agriculture outreach team. These are all full time and remote positions, with the potential for hybrid remote/office at the selected candidates’ preference. These are all exciting opportunities to be part of a growing team supporting agricultural conservation efforts across the Midwest and other regions. Descriptions of the positions can be found below, and more information about our outreach team and programs can be found here: https://growingoutreach.nwf.org/

Conservation Postdoctoral Research Specialist

The Conservation Research Specialist will contribute to NWF’s efforts to advance agricultural sustainability through promotion of soil health and conservation systems. As part of the sustainable agriculture team, this position will assist with efforts to identify effective outreach strategies through research and evaluation, identify research gaps and opportunities, contribute to NWF researcher-practitioner connections, and support development of a new conference focused on social science in agricultural outreach. This is an excellent opportunity for recent PhD graduates interested in careers in applied social science and non-governmental organizations.
