The website for the 2024 IASNR Conference in Cairns, Australia is now live and available! The conference will run from June 23-27, 2024 and the theme of the conference is “Re-creating Landscape and Culture in a Time of Global Change.” The tropical setting in Far North Queensland is adjacent to two World Heritage areas – the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics. The conference will bring together a diverse range of research from Australia and across the world. Co-Chairs Stewart Lockie and Tom Measham encourage you to put this exciting conference in your diaries and start planning your trip to Cairns. Look out for updates on the website.
A call for organized session proposals and abstracts will be sent by the end of September. We encourage submissions that are relevant to the symposium theme and those that focus on the interactions between social and ecological systems. Conference registration will open in early 2024.
