CSU Search for Vice President for Research

Colorado State University seeks a dynamic leader and scholar to serve as its next Vice President for Research. CSU is a research powerhouse, consistently ranked among the top performing research universities in the nation with faculty research productivity also highly ranked among top public research universities. The Vice President for Research will lead a robust research enterprise that has increased by 46% in the past decade, climbing year-after-year to hit a record $456.9 million in 2022. This position serves on the President’s Cabinet and Executive Leadership Team and reports directly to the Provost and Executive Vice President. The VPR works in partnership with the president, provost, deans, other vice presidents and the campus community to advance the University’s reputation as an internationally recognized institution with the highest Carnegie ranking.
