Assistant Professor in Parks, Recreation and Tourism – The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of  Vermont

The Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources at the University of  Vermont welcomes applicants for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position to contribute to the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Program. We seek a colleague with expertise in outdoor education, environmental interpretation, public communication, or other aspects of social behavior and resource management in parks, outdoor recreation, and tourism. Applicants should have the capacity to deliver high quality teaching, mentoring, and advising for undergraduate and graduate students, the ability to develop a successful, funded research program as demonstrated by a record of peer-reviewed publications, and a track record of centering equity and inclusion in their professional activities.
